Public comment sought on FY07 MO-PERC budget
2006-05-16

Missouri propane marketers and the public at large are invited to submit comments on MO-PERC’s proposed budget for FY07 which begins July 1. The budget retains three primary focuses: ensuring industry education; facilitating consumer and public education about the benefits of propane through rebate programs; and an active media campaign in the spring and fall.

The Council’s proposed budget includes a modified version of the furnace rebate program, setting aside 1000 rebates of $150. The rebate programs for water heaters, regulators, CETP and trade shows remain in force.

Industry and public input is important in the evaluation and adoption of a final budget. The deadline for comments is June 2, 2006. Comments on MO-PERC’s proposed FY07 spending should be mailed to: Public Comment, MO-PERC, 4110 Country Club Drive, Jefferson City, MO 65109, or by fax to (573) 893-2623 or emailed to mpgasteve@earthlink.net.
